सर्दियों की सुहानी सी धूप में अंकिता और आनन्द एक पार्क में बैठे हुए हैं।
अंकिता - तुम मुझसे कितना प्यार करते हो ? क्या मेरा साथ हमेशा निभाओगे ?
आनन्द - जितना तुम मुझसे प्यार करती हो, उससे कहीं गुना ज्यादा अंकिता। मैं वादा करता हूँ कि मैं हमेशा तुम्हारा साथ निभाऊँगा, हर परिस्थिति में तुम्हारा साथ दूँगा। क्या तुम मुझसे शादी करने के लिए तैयार हो ?
अंकिता - हाँ, पर पता नहीं मेरे घरवाले मानेगें या नहीं। पर आनन्द मैं तुम्हारे बिना नहीं रह सकती और मैं उनके खिलाफ जाकर भी तुमसे शादी करने के लिए तैयार हूँ। क्या तुम तैयार हो ?
आनन्द - हाँ, मैं हर परिस्थिति का सामना करूगाँ तुमसे शादी करने के लिए।
अंकिता और आनन्द दोनों 5 साल से एक-दूसरे को जानते थे, दोनों एक-दूसरे से बहुत प्यार करने लगे। दोनों के अलग-अलग जाति के होने के कारण उनके घरवाले उनकी शादी करने के लिए तैयार नहीं हुए।
