History of Science Discoveries and technology

Science Discoveries Try to imagine life without  antibiotics . We wouldn’t live nearly as long as we do without them. Here’s a look at some discoveries that have changed the world. It’s impossible to rank their importance, so they’re listed in the order they were discovered. The Copernicum System In 1543, while on his deathbed, Polish astronomer   Nicholas Copernicus published his theory that the Sun is a motionless body at the center of the solar system, with the planets revolving around it. Before the Copernicum system was introduced, astronomers believed the Earth was at the center of the universe. Gravity Isaac Newton,  an English mathematician and physicist, is considered the greatest scientist of all time. Among his many discoveries, the most important is probably his law of universal gravitation. In 1664, Newton figured out that gravity is the force that draws objects toward each other. It explained why things fall down and why the planets orbit around the Sun.

Now you can eat blue bread with green vegetable becouse NABI Scientists Develop Colored Wheat Lines

NABI Scientists Develop Colored Wheat Lines Written on 05/08/2019  NABI Scientists Develop Colored Wheat Lines NABI, Mohali Scientists Develop Colored Wheat Lines How about eating Blue Chapati’s, Purple Biscuits & Rainbow colored noodles next time you have your lunch or Supper? Ohh, it’s very much possible now and it will be much more nutritious than the current ones you intake! All these colored bread packed with health benefits than those created with your ‘ordinary’ amber wheat, can be very soon bought from your nearest grocery store. Agricultural biotechnologists team at National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute –  NABI  Mohali headed by Monika Garg has not only developed these new colored wheat types, but they also have moved the technology to businesses, and many partner companies are already in the process of growing them. It’s very important to mention the normal wheat types contain a minimal quantity of anthocyanins – natural antioxidants present – however,

Giant Virus Species – Bandra megavirus, Kurlavirus Found in Mumbai Water Samples

Giant Virus Species – Bandra megavirus, Kurlavirus Found in Mumbai Water Samples Written on 05/09/2019   Giant Virus Found in Mumbai Water Samples By IITB Scientists A virus that to a Giant one, sounds horrific right? IIT Bombay Scientist has found giant virus species lurking in water samples collected in Mumbai. Though the virus species identified are all not non-pathogenic, so Mumbaikars you can take a sigh of relief! Nothing to worry here. The team has discovered Bandra megavirus (BMV), a novel, and so far, the largest giant virus reported from India. In 465 nanometer, it is countless folds smaller than the depth of hair but several times larger than other germs. Other new giant virus species discovered are — Powai lake megavirus (PLMV), Mimivirus bombay (MVB) and Kurlavirus (KUV). The scientific community has been on their toes for the lookout of species related to those of initial Giant Virus growing within amoebae discovered in a cooling tower in England in 1992. The

Researcher create embryo stem cell from the skin cell at hebrew university of jerusalema

Researchers at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HU) have found a way to transform skin cells into the three major stem cell types that comprise early-stage embryos. The work (in mouse cells) has significant implications for modelling embryonic disease and placental dysfunctions, as well as paving the way to create whole embryos from skin cells Add c Researcher create  embryo stem cell from the skin cell at hebrew university of jerusalem  Dr. Yossi Buganim of HU's Department of Developmental Biology and Cancer Research and his team discovered a set of genes capable of transforming murine skin cells into all three of the cell types that comprise the early embryo: the embryo itself, the placenta and the extra-embryonic tissues, such as the umbilical cord. In the future, it may be possible to create entire human embryos out of human skin cells, without the need for sperm or eggs. This discovery also has vast implications for modelling embryonic defects and shedding light on
